  1. You can see the excitement on their faces. Good luck to you all!

  2. Can’t wait to see the same interview when you’re almost done with your year away and coming home. It will be interesting to see what their feelings and fears are about re-entry after this journey.

  10. I had to laugh at Alex’s comment. You will certainly have plenty of family time! I’m sure that will be trying at times, but it’s a small price to pay for a treasure trove of new experiences.

We just spent the morning and part of the afternoon reading about your incredible adventure and watching your videos. Truly an inspirational trek that moved us deeply. One day we hope to meet you or at least see your 6 Explorers presentation. Dover, MA, is not all that far for us. We are in the Philadelphia area. My wife and I have been travelling with our 6 children for over twenty years. They are now between the ages of 17 and 26 (five in college now, ouch!) They still will drop whatever that bonds them to their East Coast lifestyle for any collective journey to any part of the world. We too are proud of their world views that have been in part sculpted by the experience of a diverse and captivating planet unveiled to them in the alleyways and remote paths on roads less traveled. The “en suite?” comment of your young one still comes us once in awhile around here as well. Thank you so much for sharing so much of yourselves with the us.
